Tenant settings

The Tenant settings page lets you view and update the properties of the selected tenant. You can also configure identifiers for billing reports, disable or re-enable the Getting started configuration, and permanently delete the tenant.

Prerequisites

For information about the permissions required to edit or delete a tenant, see Roles and permissions.

Accessing the Tenant settings page

  1. In the Airlock Console, go to:
    Configuration >> Tenant settings

  2. From the tenant drop-down list at the top of the navigation tree on the left, select the tenant whose settings you want to access.

General settings

The General section lets you view and update the general properties of the selected tenant.

The following settings are available:

  • Tenant name: Enter a unique name for the tenant.

  • Color: Select the color used to identify the tenant in the Airlock Console.

  • Data center: Shows the data center in which the tenant IAM is deployed. You can change the data center only before the tenant has been deployed. After deployment, the field is read-only.

  • Description: Enter an optional short description of the tenant.

  • Service level: Shows the service level selected when the tenant was created. The following service levels are available:

    • Non-production: For tenants used as working environments in which configurations are developed or tested.

    • Production: For tenants that serve production environments.

      Notice
      T
he service level cannot be changed after the tenant has been created.

Fields marked with an asterisk (*) are required.

After changing any editable settings in the General section, click Save.

The tenant settings are updated.

Billing reporting

The Billing reporting section lets you specify optional identifiers used to map the tenant to your billing systems. The identifiers are included in the monthly billing reports.

The following settings are available:

  • External Tenant ID: Enter an identifier from your system that maps the tenant to your billing systems.

  • PRCA ID: Enter the Production Resource Catalog (PRCA) identifier associated with the tenant.

For details about the generated reports, see Billing reporting.

After changing any settings in the Billing reporting section, click Save.

The tenant settings are updated.

Disabling or enabling the Getting started configuration

The Getting started configuration is enabled by default for newly created tenants. Disable it when you want to work with a custom IAM configuration instead.

To disable the Getting started configuration, click Disable Getting Started.

The Getting started configuration is disabled. Users with the required permissions can upload and activate custom configurations using IAM Config files and Activations.

Notice

The permissions required to upload or manage IAM configuration files are independent of the permission to disable Getting started. For details, see Roles and permissions.

To restore the simplified initial configuration workflow, click Enable Getting Started.

Warning

If you re-enable and apply the Getting started configuration, it overwrites the currently active configuration. To restore a previously uploaded configuration, re-disable Getting started and activate the uploaded configuration again.

Deleting the tenant

Deleting a tenant permanently removes the tenant and all associated data.

  1. In the Delete tenant section, click Delete.

  2. In the confimation dialog, confirm the deletion.

The tenant is deleted and removed from the organization.

Warning

Deleting a tenant cannot be undone.
