An IAM configuration defines the access and identity management settings for your application(s) on a specific tenant IAM instance. Within SaaS, an IAM configuration is a ZIP file. To deploy a specific configuration on a tenant instance, you must activate the corresponding configuration file.
There are two ways to activate a configuration for a tenant:
Default configuration — a default configuration is assigned to each tenant when it is created. You can adjust, activate, and test this configuration on the Getting started page.
Uploaded configuration — upload a configuration file and activate it in the Activate configuration dialog. This option is described here.
Prerequisites
To upload and activate an IAM configuration in the Activate configuration dialog, the role AMC - Activate configuration is required. This role is by default part of the SaaS Administrator role, but can also be assigned separately to an administrator. See also SaaS roles and permissions.
Uploading an IAM configuration file
Proceed as follows to upload a configuration file:
Go to:
Configuration >> Configuration filesIn the Tenant drop-down menu on the left, select the respective tenant.
Click Upload file.
In the upload dialog, browse to the respective IAM configuration file.
(Optional) Enter a description for this configuration in the Description field.
Click Upload.
The uploaded configuration appears in the Configuration files and upload history table. To activate it, follow the instructions below.
Activating an IAM configuration
Proceed as follows to activate an IAM configuration for a tenant:
-
In the Activate configuration dialog, section Activate configuration, select the configuration to activate from the Configuration drop-down list. Details of the selected configuration appear below the list.
Notice
If there is no configuration to select, no IAM configuration file may have been uploaded to your Airlock Console. In this case, contact Airlock support for further assistance. Click Activate to activate the configuration.
The Activation history section shows the status of the activation process, e.g., Pending or Activating. The activation process completes successfully when the status changes to Success.
Notice
An activation can take a few minutes. This is normal. However, if the status does not change to Failed or Success within 10 minutes, contact Airlock Support, as there may be an issue with your configuration.
Current configuration and activation history
The Activate configuration dialog displays both the currently active configuration and the activation history for the selected tenant.£

This section provides details of the currently active configuration, including:
